Great Great Day!! The weather is incredible..people swimming in the Firth of Forth, kayaking the Eden Slough, picniking everywhere and, of course, the dog walkies. We drove out to the Strathtyrum Course to get a time for today. Could not get out until about 2:48pm and so we took that time and then went off to enjoy the great weather.

Drove over to the beach. I walked around the beach while Dick watched from the wall. St.Andrews has new volleyball courts on the beach which seem very popular. Went out to the ocean...people swimming and wading!! Incredible weather. Found a particularly interesting pottery shard on the beach and brought it back. May put it in my memory cubby wall.

Had a nice lunch at the New Course Club House and watch the people playing on the Himalaylas. They had a tournament going on and no visitors allowed until after 3:30pm. The price has gone up now to 1 LB for seniors and 1 LB for locals and 2 LBS for the rebels. Dick and I will have to remember to take time to amble over and take a round on the Himalaylas.

Still had some time to waste; so I did a loop up around south of St. Andrews to Kincaple and then back to St. Andrews, past the B&B we had stayed at some time ago who's name I could not remember....Whitecroft.

Dick bought me a 7 rounds of golf within 14 days card at 290 LBS (Sorry no British Pound Sign on my keypad). Dick plays free on his membership card with the R&A. So that offers some savings to me. We played golf with me carrying my bag and Dick on a "trolley" (aka pullcart). This was the test to see how we did now that we are so old. We did great!!! We played in 3 hrs and 20 mins and you will love this news.... are you ready.....DICK BEAT ME BY 6 STROKES!!!!
