In the Brazil Nut Cup for Members 70 years of age or over, 74 year old American Member, Dr Richard Stroud, won the main prize, returning a score of 24 stableford points, over 9 holes of the Strathtyrum Course. 84 year old local Member, David Goodsir, was the winner of the PK Peanut Plate, awarded for the best score of 23 stableford points returned by a Member 80 years of age or over.
We've had a lovely ribeye steak dinner at the Dunvegan. Saw some of our friends from USA and told them of the news. Dick said that at the Annual Meeting on Thursday night, he will again be presented with the trophy and then will get another one to take home.
Beautiful night out tonight. Everyone says rain for tomorrow. We'll see.
